Code of Conduct

Welcome to the Design Buddies Community! This is a space where designers from all backgrounds can connect and learn from each other.

The goal of this community is to help its members to form and maintain connections while leveling up their skills and careers.

In order to meet the goals of this community, it’s important for members to feel like they are in a safe place that is populated by people with shared interests. As such, we request that you read and adhere to the guidelines that follow.

General Rules

• Treat others online as you would treat them in real life. Communicate with courtesy and respect
• Be tolerant of other’s viewpoints; respectfully disagree when opinions do not align Network within the community. (Design Buddies is not liable for communication and transactions outside of this server.)
• Offer constructive feedback on at least one member’s work before asking for feedback on your own work
• Respect the privacy and personal information of other members
• ‘Not Safe For Work’ content is prohibited
• You must be at least 13 years old to join our Discord
• You are responsible for your own due diligence. We can not control how people behave, we are not responsible for any conflicts, scams, or inappropriate behavior that happens inside or outside of our community. Please report and we will take the appropriate action, such as removing them from the community.

Consequences We will take action when we find that someone is violating these guidelines. Sometimes that just means giving someone a warning; other times it means banning you from the server entirely

Any of the following activities will result in a ban from our Discord

• Spamming and phishing
• Trolling or bullying
• Inappropriate material: All defamatory, abusive, profane, threatening, offensive or illegal material and nudity is strictly prohibited
